My Maths Test

Today I did a Maths test with Mrs Manuyag.
I learned:
I am just below for adding and subtraction.I am at the right level in my times tables. I am below in my fractions. This term I am going to focus on learning how to use my fractions in word problems.

Learning About Perimeter

Today our class went out into the courts to learn about perimeters. We learned how to work out the perimeter of a rectangle and a square. We also learned how to use stage 4, stage 5 and stage 6 strategies. The best part was when we drew the rectangle with the perimeter and it was "12m" and "3m" and when Mrs Manuyag showed us if a square is equal or not, even with a triangle.

How To Setup a Fishtank with fish in a classroom.

How To Setup a Fish Tank with fish in the classroom. My goal is to set up a fish tank properly. Materials: A fish tank that can leave a lot of space for your fish. Enough fish food (fish flakes) that could last for even a week. Colourful stones. Any other detail (like fake seaweed) A place where no noise can be heard. Steps: Pour enough coloured stones enough to fill the bottom into the fishtank. Add the fake seaweed into the tank. Pour water into the tank. It should be 6 containers or less to fill it up to the near top, leaving some space at the top. Carefully cut and place the fish into the water of the tank. The warm water of the bag will also warm the water inside the tank. Close the tank with the lid that has a small lid on top of it.
Conclusion: Leave the fish as they will swim and keep away from the tank, because if you get too close, it might freak the fish out.Leave the fish as they will swim and keep away from the tank, because if you get too close, it might freak the fish out.

The Gas into Balloon Experiment

How to fill a balloon with Gas.
With our experiment, we are learning how to fill a balloon with gas from a Pepsi bottle.
Materials: Balloon Pepsi bottle
Step One.. Open the lid from the Pepsi bottle.
Step Two.. Place your balloon on top of the Pepsi bottle.
Step Three.. Let the gas come out of the Pepsi bottle and into the balloon.
Step Four.. Shake the bottle a little bit so the gas rises more into the balloon.
Step Five.. Watch the balloon rise!
Conclusion: When we put the balloon on the bottle of Pepsi, the gas (carbon dioxide) escaped into the balloon and it inflated a little bit. When we shook the bottle, the gas risen more faster, making the balloon inflate more bigger and faster.
