Walking in a Forest...

Here's an old piece of writing from a few years back.

Rainbow Warrior (3 of 3) - 30 Years On...

Hi, there.

Here's another History assessment for you, reader.

Earlier in the year oh my, I need to stop saying that. It was probably between June and July that my Level One History class focused on the 1985 Bombing of the Rainbow Warrior. We had to look at the background events that led to the bombing and the consequences of the bombing.

This assessment was to take the research we had gathered (in the previous post) and put it into magazine article set 30 years after the bombing, along with little tidbits of information in some places, pictures, and a magazine cover at the front. Click the cover below to access my "article". Funny how it's set in 2015.

Those were the days...

Oh, I'm just putting this out there - it's a bit long. As usual.

Rainbow Warrior (2 of 3) - Resource Highlighting

The second installment in this Rainbow Warrior blogpost series. This is the first assessment from my History class, where I had to find sources that answered the three key questions (in previous post). All in all, it answers the three questions. It's a really long document (sounds surprising, I know). Click the screenshot to access it - and enjoy reading!

Rainbow Warrior (1 of 3) - Key Questions

Another piece from my History class. This will be the first of three posts relating to an assessment focused on the 1985 bombing of the Rainbow Warrior.

My History class delved into the background events that led up to the bombing (such as the Cold War and the effects of the Cold War - mainly nuclear energy and power) and the events that took place after the bombing (including the strain on New Zealand's relationship with France).

The first part will just show you the key questions I focused on for the research portion that will come sooner or later.

1) What were the causes of the bombing of the Rainbow Warrior?

2) What happened during the bombing?

3) What were the outcomes and consequences of the bombing?
